RCX forums ~ Terms of use V2.0 (Revised edition)

*Note: These rules are the newest version and have been modified in all aspects to keep the forums as clean & organized as possible aswell as keeping our members satisfied as much as possible.

What should I as the member know about?

SPAMMING:
(Repetitive posts with no meaning).
Spamming is not permitted at anytime, this action is liable
for suspension if it gets out of hand. This includes posting
pharmacutical ads, pornography, etc... and also means
absolutely no offsite linking in threads, signatures,
avatars, etc...

SEARCH BUTTON
(Searching for keywords before posting a thread/post)
Please use the search button at the top of the page before
posting questions as it may already be answered for you.
This will prevent multiple threads/posts for the same topic
aswell as members ridiculing you in the process.

ONE WORD POSTS
(Posts such as "Cool", "Awesome", etc....)
This behaviour is not permitted and only shows
that you are a spammer looking for post-count.
Note: Post count will not gain you any advantages
over any member(s) nor will it give you any special privy's.
Please keep all post to more than 3 words minimum.

FLAME-WARS
A thread/post instigating a "text-war")
This site covers many different brands of radio-
controlled vehicles and we realize that every person
has his/her dislikes for each category. However,
we will not tolerate flaming from one member nor
product to another.

CAP-LOCKS
Please make sure to turn your "Caps lock" off)
Do not post threads in all capital letters. This implies that
you are yelling at members and is not permitted at any
time because it is just rude.

PROFANITY
Swearing, cussing, etc...
This site is viewed by all public and all ages alike,
so please keep the language to a "PG-16" rating.
Censors are in place and will edit out any extreme
language, if you come across one that offends you
please do not hesitate to ask for its removal.

PORNOGRAPHY/PHARM RELATED
Sexuality, nudity, drugs, paraphernelia, etc...
Any Pornography/Pharmacutical material found on this site
in any form or fasion will get you banned immediately
from this site permanently. This includes all images and/or
offsite linking.

RACIAL DISCRIMINATION/SLURS
Any form of racial or hate threads/posts
Racial comments/slurs and/or hate posts will immediately get
you banned.

FRAME BREAKING
Whereas the image goes beyond the perimeters of the screen
Please keep all images to under 600 pixels. If it exceeds this
frame it will be turned into a link or deleted. This is to make
all 56k users happy!

SPELLING, GRAMMAR & PUNCTUATION
Please try and make your threads understandable so that
other people dont ask unnecassary questions. If your thread
is completely unreadable it will be erased.

SIGNATURES
Found within your Control panel (profile)
Please keep your signatures small and if you are to use an
image it has to be no larger in size than 1"H x 4"W
Advertizing is not permitted within signatures unless you are
a sponsor and/or vendor to RCX forums, so do not attempt this!

NAME-CHANGE: ~NEW~
If you want your Alias changed to something completely different
then what it already is, then please forward me your First & Last
name to: Torredo2000@gmail.com
If you are a first time member the same applies to you unless youve
already given your full name, just Email me to have yourself verified.

AGGRESSIVE OR ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR
Do not make threats and/or use abusive content towards
any member(s) as this will get you suspended, and then the
thread reviewed for further action which in some cases could
mean being banned permanently pending.



Buy/Sell/Trade forums:

BUMPING THREADS
(When a member attempts to have a thread viewed by posting)
This is also not permitted and could get you suspended.
If members want to view your thread they will and can
find it at their liesure.

MAKING AN OFFER
If you make an offer, You are obligated to buy the
item(s) that are up for trade. So, please do not make
an offer if you are not serious!!

UNDER BIDDING (low-balling)
(When a member bids below the listed price by the seller)
This is not tolerated on this site!! If the seller is
asking a certain ammount and you offer under it
unless specified "O.B.O - (or best offer) then you
will be warned and/or also be suspended from the site.

Rude comments:
If you are unhappy with the outcome of your transaction please
do not post it for everyone else to see, instead use the "PM" feature
within the forums.



Advertizing:

Advertizing is only permitted within the Website URL button
in your "PROFILE". Anything else in not permitted unless you are
a sponsor and/or vendor to the forums.



Administration & moderators:
Both the Administration and Moderators that take part in this website are to follow the "Terms of use" posted here. This goes both ways and makes for a much friendlier place to visit.

Editing threads:
When editing posts in members threads please only do so if the
content is going against the Terms of use. In NO way at any givin
time are you to edit a post and degrade, humiliate or cuss. If you
have a problem with a member you are to contact them via PM
or Email only. You as the moderator are to edit-in a reason for the
removal of text/images soforth aswell as your alias at the bottom
of his/her post. This will let not only the member know who edited
their post but why it also was done!

Moving normal threads/posts:

Whenever a Moderator of this forum is to move any post/thread
is now required to alert the originating member that created it
of its movement, this allows for him/her to know of its new placement
instead of logging on to find it missing and assume it has been removed/deleted.
So..Please PM the member whenever moving the thread/post.

Also note:
The box that appears when moving a post will come up which states "Leave shadow topic in old forum." Make sure the green tally mark is not present as I do not want the ghost to appear.
